Hi, I’m Kathryn, a qualified graphic designer pursuing an exciting journey to embrace and incorporate the inspirational world of abstract art and pattern design into my creative practice.

My artistic story began at an early age, for as far as I can remember, I have always had a passion for drawing and painting. After leaving school, I continued this interest in creativity attaining a Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design from York College. This achievement enabled me to develop an incredibly fulfilling and extensive career in the creative arts.

I spent the early part of my career working within design studios, focused on bringing to projects my creative style and input, producing solutions for a diverse range of small businesses and well known company brands. 

I launched my own design business in 1999 and since then I have had the priviledge of working with some amazing businesses doing what I love the most, creating design solutions and seeing them implemented.

During 2020 a new season and journey began, I re-discovered my more artistic and pattern loving side and decided to embark on a number of art training courses to refresh my skills, further my continuing professional development and pursue some new business streams. 

I have been working on bringing this trio of artistic disciplines together to inspire others to light up their world through creativity.
